Human Resource Advisor

We are seeking a highly experienced Human Resource Advisor to join our team at Giltrap AgriZone in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in generalist HR, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment coordination and payroll management in a small to medium-sized organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
  • Provide guidance on NZ employment legislation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in the revision of company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices
  • Support the overall recruitment process, including advertising and interviewing
  • Manage payroll data entry and ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
  • Liaise with employees and management to resolve HR-related issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations
  • Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel between branches as required

This is a part-time permanent office-based role, with approximately 20 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will require a valid work visa or NZ residency.
