Molecular Bioanalyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team at Asct. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Graduate program in Molecular Bioanalysis, where you will perform analytical testing using techniques such as DNA/RNA Extractions and qPCR.

This is a permanent position that offers a 24-month graduate training programme aimed at taking new graduates from entry-level analyst through to senior analyst level within the Molecular Bioanalysis department.

• You will perform a variety of assays to GLP/GCP standards, supporting both pre-clinical and clinical studies.
• The core features of this training programme include performing analytical testing using analytical techniques, developing a portfolio of knowledge, skills and behaviours, and completing short courses such as Root Cause Analysis and Lean-six sigma.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

• Perform high-quality analytical testing using DNA/RNA Extraction and qPCR techniques.
• Support pre-clinical and clinical studies by performing assays to GLP/GCP standards.
• Develop your skills and knowledge through a comprehensive graduate training programme.

• A completed Life Sciences related Degree

• Excellent communication skills
• Desirable: Previous analytical experience using PCR or DNA/RNA Extraction techniques
• Desirable: Awareness of GLP and GCP regulations
