Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Director of Audit and Assurance Services to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will work closely with the Director of Audit and Assurance Services to determine the strategic direction of ASW Assurance and deliver a professional service that meets the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance on internal audit and counter fraud matters to our clients
- Lead and manage a team of audit and assurance professionals to deliver high-quality services to our clients
- Develop and implement strategies to improve governance and risk management within our clients' organisations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in internal audit and counter fraud and apply this knowledge to improve our services
- Full membership of a professional accountancy body (Consultative Committee Accountancy Bodies)
- Internal Audit qualification (Institute of Internal Auditors) or other relevant professional qualification
- Experience working in internal audit/counter fraud and managing and motivating staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
