Oldbury, Sandwell, United Kingdom We Manage Jobs(WMJobs) Full time
Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MST-CAN Therapist to join our team in Sandwell. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based systemic interventions with families who have complex needs, including those affected by child abuse and neglect.

As an MST-CAN Therapist, you will work closely with families in their natural ecology, providing intensive support and guidance to help them manage risk factors and improve their overall well-being. You will be expected to manage a caseload of 3-4 families, delivering targeted interventions that address specific problems and risk factors.

You will also be required to provide 24-hour coverage to families on a rota basis, ensuring that they receive timely and effective support when needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a related degree or professional qualification, such as social work, youth offending, or mental health, and have post-qualification experience working in a statutory agency. They will also have a strong understanding of family systems theory, social ecological theory, and behavioral theory, as well as experience of evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.

Salary: £36,124 - £40,476 per annum, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits, including a generous local government pension scheme and flexible working patterns.
