Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Sales Representative to join our team at International Process Plants. As an Equipment Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in expanding our equipment sales to respond to increasing demand for second-hand used and rebuilt process equipment and process systems across our focus industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers at both engineer C-suite levels.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Reach agreed-upon sales targets by the deadline.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Account Management: Set follow-up meetings and calls to keep customers aware of the latest developments and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Business Planning: Develop personalized business plans to maximize customer contact and ensure repeat sales.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain detailed account profiles and prepare sales reports as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate and participate in information sharing with various team members and departments.
  • Industry Events: Attend and participate in company-supported events and industry trade shows.
  • Professional Development: Enhance professional delivery by continuously increasing product and industry knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel: Occasionally travel to visit high-value customer sites and other company facilities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields.
  • Credentials: Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred).
  • Skillset: Ability to build rapport with clients, strong phone and negotiation skills, strong financial focus, and ability to assess customer patterns and future needs.
  • Education: 2-year college degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly organized and able to work both independently and on a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with a strong understanding of process-related industries or a strong mechanical background.
  • Business Acumen: Thorough knowledge of how medium & large corporations purchase assets.
  • Success Metrics: Proven success in quoting and closing capital equipment sales or similar industry experience.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual a plus (Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Mandarin).
