Area Business Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Area Business Manager to join our team at McCormick & Company. As a key member of our merchandising services team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our UK strategic vision, under the day-to-day management of our UK Field Controller.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team of merchandisers, providing regular coaching and feedback to drive compliance and availability across the store estate.
- Manage assigned headcount to ensure service levels to stores are maintained, while driving frequency of visits and minimizing costs.
- Represent our route to market in stores, resolving issues and providing feedback to our customers and stakeholders.
- Embed and demonstrate our company values throughout the MMS operation, working closely with our HR team to ensure this is achieved.
Candidate Profile
- Degree-level qualification in business, operations, or management.
- Previous experience in management within the FMCG industry.
- Evidence of delivering against targets and goals.
- Previous performance management experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels, including senior stakeholders.
