Job Title: Psychology Support Assistant

We are seeking a Psychology Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Psychology Support Assistant, you will work with children with additional needs, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Role Overview:

We work with schools in and around Bristol to provide support staff for children with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and physical disabilities. As a Psychology Support Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to children with additional needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure children's needs are met
  • Monitor and record children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support their development
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with children with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
