Job Title: Derby Engineering Position

Location: Derby

Salary: £48,000 - £65,000 per annum

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to fill a permanent position in our Derby office. As an engineer in this role, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, testing, and commissioning bespoke and commercial electrical control and instrumentation systems.

Your primary focus will be on producing technical reports and documentation, conducting design reviews, investigations, commissioning, and upgrade activities, as well as liaising with key stakeholders to integrate and manage system requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. HND/Bachelors in a relevant discipline (Electrical, Aeronautics)
  2. Satellite systems experience
  3. Space project experience
  4. Experience of engineering design to commercial standards in electrical, control or automation

In addition to the above qualifications, we are looking for individuals with DOORS software experience, understanding of functional safety IEC 13849, 61508/11, and experience in power system design for control applications.
