About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent in the support worker team.
  • Team Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to support workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Supervisions: Conduct regular quality supervisions to ensure that support workers are meeting the required standards.
  • Staff Observations and Competency Assessments: Conduct regular observations and competency assessments to identify areas for development and improvement.
  • Rotas and Time Sheets: Manage rotas and time sheets for the service in line with procedures.
  • Direct Support: Provide a minimum of 12 hours per week of direct support to individuals.
  • Talent Development: Identify and develop talent for succession planning.
  • Covering Shifts: Cover shifts where there is a shortfall within the rota and no cover can be found.
  • On-Call System: Be part of the company on-call system outside of normal operating hours.
  • Health and Safety: Lead on health and safety responsibilities as determined by the partnership with the housing provider.
