Management Accountant

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at the company's headquarters, offering a competitive salary of circa £30,000.
This role will play a key part in supporting the finance function, reporting into an experienced and friendly Finance Manager. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to enhance their management accounting skills, taking overall responsibility for the production of high-quality management information.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Support with all month-end procedures to tight deadlines
- Ensure efficient accounts payable and receivable controls
- Perform bank/balance sheet reconciliations
- Create invoices and deal with any discrepancies and queries
- Monitor the aged debtor
- Support the Finance Manager with various ad-hoc duties and tasks
- Work closely with colleagues outside of finance
Requirements: The ideal candidate will be part/fully AAT qualified, though applicants with relevant vocational experience who are keen to progress will be given equal consideration. Good IT skills, including an aptitude for picking up digital accounting platforms (Sage/Xero), are essential.
