Job Summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Highway Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Highways Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of highway projects, from conceptual design to construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Select and implement industry-standard design specifications and codes of practice.
  • Lead on engineering input at all stages of a project, from conceptual design to site monitoring.
  • Assess and manage project risks, initiate mitigation, and escalate issues to senior officers.
  • Coordinate design work across specialist disciplines.

Requirements

  • Proficient with industry-standard computer-aided tools and software, including AutoCAD.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in overseeing designs produced by consultants.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and make informed decisions.
