Senior Systems Engineer (Servers & Storage)

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a passion for building technical solutions to deliver outstanding service to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will consult with internal and external stakeholders to scope technical solutions, design, plan, and document technical work packages, implement technical solutions, and assist in the transition of solutions into live service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to scope technical solutions
  • Design, plan, and document technical work packages
  • Implement technical solutions
  • Assist in the transition of solutions into live service

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical role
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Takes ownership and responsibility
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft System Centre products, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365/Office365, and InTune
  • Experience working with networking technologies is desirable but not essential
  • Recognised current Microsoft qualification/exam pass combined with evidence of continued professional development
  • Experience working within a busy office environment
  • A positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities
  • Closely focused attention to detail
  • Able to work accurately following a procedure
