At Appoint Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Nurse / ODP to join our team at our private hospital in Norwich.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support theatre teams across various operations, including orthopaedics, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and care for patients undergoing procedures.
  • Review patient charts and confirm data accuracy.
  • Ensure medical equipment is prepared for surgery, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Monitor patients' condition throughout surgery, maintaining a high standard of care.
  • Cover anaesthetic duties as required, working collaboratively with the anaesthetic team.
  • Support patients through their recovery period post-surgery, ensuring seamless transition to post-operative care.
Requirements:
  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • A minimum of 2 years UK experience in scrub nursing is essential.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while maintaining high-quality care standards.
  • Possession of a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
