We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with special educational needs, as well as experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons.



Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the Class Teacher:


  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Provide one-to-one support for students with special educational needs.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of learning materials.


Leading Small Group Interventions:


  • Lead small group interventions to support students who require additional support.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to identify students who require additional support.


Requirements:


  • Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or relevant qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in Key Stage 1 and 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
