Electrical Services Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Services Manager to lead our electrical division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with the operations director, senior contracts manager, and electrical team members.
  • Monitor and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met for planned and reactive tasks.
  • Oversee team performance statistics and conduct regular audits.
  • Lead weekly meetings with supervisors and the helpdesk to ensure adherence to the agenda.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for the electrical team every six months.
  • Act as line manager for electrical supervisors, QS, OSM, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a positive team morale and approve team holidays.
  • Identify labour shortages, recruit new staff, and reassign workloads as necessary.
  • Work closely with HR on staffing needs and enforce company electrical policies.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified electrician or strong understanding of electrical processes and regulations.
  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office tools.
