About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Depaul Group, working with young adults in care to empower them towards independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding and Wellbeing: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times, adhering to Depaul's Policy and Procedures.
  • Support and Empowerment: Provide one-to-one and group support opportunities to increase resilience in clients.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Proactively lead on partnerships with local agencies to support the well-being of Depaul clients.
  • Education and Employment: Support clients to participate in Education, Training, Employment, and Volunteering opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience of working with young people or those who have experienced homelessness.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance misuse, or the care system.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
