Job Title: Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes. You will provide high-quality care and companionship, ensuring our clients receive the best possible support to maintain their dignity and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with their daily routines, including personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help prevent loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.25-£13.25, with bank holiday rates of £24.50 per hour.
  • Paid travel time between visits.
  • Minimum 1 hour visits, allowing for quality time with clients.
  • Mileage paid at 35p-45p per mile.

Requirements:

  • A genuine desire to support our clients to remain happy and healthy at home.
  • Aged 18 or over.
