About Renal Services
We provide comprehensive dialysis care for patients across the UK, working in partnership with the National Health Service (NHS) to deliver high-quality care in state-of-the-art clinics equipped with the latest technology.
Role Overview
As a Renal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and service, adhering to our nursing model and providing safe haemodialysis treatment as prescribed. This role offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work on a bank basis, supporting our clinics when needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of individualized care, promoting patient-focused care and adhering to our nursing model.
- Mentor and assist team members in providing exceptional patient care.
- Provide safe haemodialysis treatment in line with patient prescriptions, ensuring the highest level of care.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, working with external organizations and hospital trusts to deliver seamless care.
- Promote and demonstrate effective communication at all times with patients, users, and providers to the service.
- Adhere to company procedures, guidelines, and policies, contributing to their implementation and review.
- Continuously develop knowledge and skills relevant to delivering high-quality care to renal patients, staying up-to-date with evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrate a commitment to improving patient care through evaluation and implementation of best practices.
Person Specification
- Full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Nursing degree
- Experience in renal nursing and dialysis is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of current professional nursing issues
- Ability to adapt to changing situations within the working environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing approach
- Able to work effectively within a team
