Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Pro Talent. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive day-to-day bookkeeping and VAT support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping:
    • Accurately process financial records and correct any errors.
    • Utilize strong mathematical and analytical skills for meticulous record-keeping.
    • Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, ensuring documentation is retained.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
    • Conduct reconciliations to support the preparation of year-end financial statements.
    • Post opening balance adjustments after finalising year-end statements.
  • VAT:
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely submission of VAT returns.
    • Prepare VAT reconciliations on a quarterly, monthly, or annual basis.
    • Calculate VAT under various schemes, including Flat Rate, Partial Exemption, and Group VAT returns.

  • Takes responsibility for tasks and identifies areas for improvement.
