About the Role

This challenging role involves a blend of customer relations, product expertise, and compliance with technical standards within fresh produce supply chains. The key responsibilities primarily focus on enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering quality and innovation, maintaining safety and legal standards, and providing technical insights that support internal teams and customer needs.

  • Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Address customer queries, complaints, and crises proactively, maintaining brand reputation.
  • Customer Interaction & Relationship Building: Attend meetings, audits, and conferences with customers, ensuring clear communication of action plans.
Product Quality & Innovation

The successful candidate will regularly update customers on product developments, compliance, and seasonal product variations. They will also work closely with technical, procurement, and quality departments to ensure alignment on customer requirements and delivery standards.

  • Supply Chain Analysis: Understand and support supply chain costing, product yield, and wastage metrics to assist in effective sourcing and trade planning.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
