This field-based role is responsible for overseeing seven national locations for a flagship client. These sites are located in London, Ipswich, Birmingham, and Northern Ireland as part of a larger group.


The successful candidate will have experience in managing operations with a turnover of circa £5 million per annum across multiple sites, including public-facing coffee shops, restaurants, hospitality services, and vending. Experience in cost-plus and commercial environments is essential.


Key Responsibilities
Business Growth

  • Identify potential business opportunities and collaborate with Operations Managers to maximize profitability across sites.
  • Develop and agree site business plans in conjunction with Directors and Clients.
  • Produce annual site budgets and growth strategies in collaboration with Directors and Clients.

Site Operations

  • Build and maintain an effective communication network with Clients to ensure the exchange of quality information.
  • Work closely with site managers to increase and maintain profitability by taking appropriate actions.
  • Plan and support site marketing to ensure creative, professional, and relevant merchandising.
  • Recruit, develop, appraise, and review managers to ensure effectiveness in their current role and future development.
  • Champion and monitor all Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, EMS, and HR procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and legislative policies and procedures across all sites.
  • Develop a creative approach to food and service to exceed Lexington's and Client's expectations.
  • Manage weekly and monthly financial performance, invoicing, and client reporting, including relevant and accurate financial and operational data.
  • Collaborate with Operations Directors to develop effective business retention strategies.
  • Assist Operations Directors in planning and achieving all Company strategic business objectives.
  • Support the sales and new site mobilization process.
    Working Pattern

40 hours, Monday to Friday


Requirements

In this role:



  • Previous experience in Group site management with a turnover of circa £3 million.
  • Detailed knowledge of the B&I catering sector.
  • Commercial (Hotels & Restaurant) knowledge is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in managing hospitality (Fine Dining), Café, and Staff Restaurants.
