Job Summary:

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in processing large volumes of invoices, managing accounts payable mailboxes, and resolving supplier queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate and process large volumes of invoices for multiple European entities
  • Manage Accounts Payable mailboxes and resolve supplier queries
  • Liaise with other teams as needed to obtain data/approvals for processing
  • Collaborate with colleagues from multiple departments to ensure timely resolution of vendor/supplier issues
  • Answer and resolve queries from internal and external parties
  • Comply with Company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Additional ad-hoc accounts payable duties as required

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a Finance position
  • Good use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective communication skills and ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to process data and information accurately and according to expected turnaround times

Working Arrangements:

  • Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours a week (hybrid working, 3 days per week in the office)
  • Competitive salary: £25,000-£26,000 DOE
  • Free on-site parking
