Academics Ltd is seeking a skilled Learning Support Specialist for Children with Medical Needs to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with a child in Year 3 who requires extensive support due to multiple needs.

About the Role

As a learning support assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to this student, encompassing daily routines, educational activities, and emotional well-being. You will also administer medication and assist with personal care tasks.

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic individual who can build strong relationships with the student and their family. Your ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations will be essential in ensuring the student's safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the student with daily routines and personal care
  • Providing educational support and adapting activities to meet the student's needs
  • Administering medication and monitoring side effects
  • Fostering positive relationships and providing emotional support
  • Assisting with mobility and ensuring the student's safety
