About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Classroom Leader to join our team at beBee Professionals in Morley, United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences and ensuring students remain engaged in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, providing guidance and support to students as needed.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task, promoting a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies, upholding high standards of behavior and respect.
  • Provide feedback to the teaching staff on the progress of students, highlighting areas of strength and weakness.
  • Support students with their learning when necessary, offering additional guidance and resources as required.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, free from bullying and harassment.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required, contributing to the smooth operation of the school.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school environment is desirable, although not essential. A strong understanding of classroom management and educational practices is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Able to adapt to different classroom environments, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Patient and approachable, with a positive attitude toward supporting students and promoting their well-being.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when required, demonstrating a commitment to meeting the needs of the school.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
