The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Lifelong Learning Co-ordinator and other members of the team, including tutors, to provide a high level of administrative support and customer service to staff, learners, partners and other stakeholders.

Working within a busy and diverse environment, the Administrative Assistant will co-ordinate and contribute to the efficient running of the programmes to support Groundwork Yorkshire in achieving their Adult Education and Business Plan targets.

1. To provide a friendly, welcoming and efficient service dealing with telephone enquiries, greeting visitors, organising venue bookings, reigisters, training sessions, and ensuring classrooms/delivery areas are ready for use.

3. To co-ordinate and oversee marketing and social media relating to all the programmes, ensuring all marketing is current, up to date and widely spread, including on the Learning Centre website, liaising with programme leaders for content.

4. Work with the team to ensure that all relevant paperwork relating to funded programmes is recorded accurately, including with computer records (Maytas), in a timely manner and submitted correctly.

5. Support the team and other staff to ensure health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.

6. To ensure any finance administration is completed efficiently by administering and logging all Purchase Orders and posting invoices, and other administrative tasks as required, chasing up unpaid invoices and raising invoices as required.

7. To comply with Groundwork’s Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding policies.

8. Supporting community, volunteering and corporate events as appropriate.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

**Salary**: £23,088.00 per year

Expected hours: 12 per week
