Economicsnetwork invites applications for an Academic Economist Role in Economics, with a focus on macroeconomics expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach 120 hours of small-group instruction per academic year
  • Act as Director of Studies in Economics when required
  • Engage in research and publication
  • Perform other College offices or duties suitable for an early-career appointment

Compensation: Equivalent stipend to points 43-49 of the Cambridge University scale (£40,311 - £46,735 per annum)

Benefits:

  • Member of the College's Governing Body
  • Eligible for seven free meals per week, limited financial support for research expenses, a study room, and possibly single occupancy residential accommodation

Requirements:

  • Send curriculum vitae, publication, teaching evaluations, and a note stating which papers the candidate can teach
  • Indicate if a work visa is required
  • Provide names and addresses of two academic referees
