Behaviour Mentor Job Description

A Behaviour Mentor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Behaviour Mentor post will be full time and long term, with scope to go permanent.

The working hours for this Behaviour Mentor role will be 8am to 4pm.

The Behaviour Mentor will work in the SEN Department and be expected to:

  • Support pupils in small groups and 1:1 basis
  • Work alongside the SEN Lead to create plans for pupils work programmes
  • Assist class teachers during lessons
  • Occasionally cover classes for short periods when the teacher needs to leave the room

The rates of pay for this Behaviour Mentor role will be between £90 and £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Secondary school and sixth form in South London, located near a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI).

It is a mixed, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
