Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for small Limited Companies under FRS102 & FRS105, ensuring a full working paper file for manager and partner review.
- Tax Compliance: Handle corporation and personal tax computations, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- VAT Management: Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Bookkeeping and Accounting: Carry out general bookkeeping duties using software like QuickBooks & Xero, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Client and HMRC Communication: Address ad-hoc queries from HMRC and clients, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Team Support: Provide support to other team members as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and productivity.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a UK accountancy practice is a MUST (please note, applications without this will not be considered).
- Qualifications: AAT, ACCA, or ACA (part or fully qualified).
- Software Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
- People Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
