Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network and Server Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new network solutions, improving the efficiency of current networks, and providing network administration and support.

  • Design and implement new network solutions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Provide network administration and support to ensure seamless network operations
  • Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP
  • Procure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved in network installation
  • Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure optimal results
  • Arrange scheduled upgrades to ensure network stability
  • Investigate network faults and report network status to key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with multicast protocols, PIM, IGMP, MBGP
  • Proficiency in Cisco hardware, including Nexus 3K, Nexus 9K, 6500E, 4900, 4500, 6800 series switches
  • Experience with ASR series and ISR series routers
  • Knowledge of Cisco software, including IOS, NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR
  • Proficiency in Ansible and Python scripting
  • Experience with Arista 7000 series TAP aggregation
  • Knowledge of PTP clock time stamping
  • Experience with Ethernet 1G/10G/40G/100G
  • Extensive routing and switching experience
  • Knowledge of protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VRF, NAT, QOS, VPN, vPC, VXLAN
  • Experience with traffic analysis tools, including Netflow, Solareflare/cStor probes, and Wireshark
  • Knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN technologies
  • Experience with Identity Services Engine
  • Knowledge of Adva FSP3000 and XG carrier ethernet solutions
  • Experience with Zabbix and Grafana management platforms
  • Knowledge of Juniper JUNOS
  • Experience with Juniper EX series
  • ITIL and Change Management experience
