Transport Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our Integrated Transport Team at Bolton Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the department's vehicle fleet and staff, ensuring they operate effectively, safely, and lawfully.
About the Role- Supervise the day-to-day transportation of pupils with special educational needs to school and adults to Day Centres.
- Ensure the department's vehicle fleet is maintained and operated in accordance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Manage and coordinate the transportation of passengers, including scheduling and route planning.
- Develop and implement effective transportation policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless transportation services.
- D1 Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands.
- Enhanced DBS with check of relevant barred list.
