We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join our team at Scribbles Day Nursery. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the wellbeing and development of children in our care.

About the Role
  • Supervise and care for children in the nursery, fostering a positive environment that promotes their social, emotional, and creative growth.
  • Support the Unit Head in planning and delivering play activities and programs that meet the needs of all children.
  • Build secure and nurturing relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1 year of paid experience in a childcare setting, preferably working with children aged 0-4 years.
  • Understanding of children's development and needs, including physical, social, educational, and emotional aspects.
