About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join our innovative and friendly home enteral nutrition team. As a dietitian in this role, you will work alongside our specialist and highly specialist dietitians, dietetic associate practitioners, and our home enteral nutrition specialist nurse to support adults who receive enteral tube feeding at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support adults who receive enteral tube feeding at home
  • Work alongside our specialist and highly specialist dietitians, dietetic associate practitioners, and our home enteral nutrition specialist nurse
  • Complete a preceptorship training programme led by experienced and enthusiastic dietitians
  • Develop your knowledge and skills across a wide variety of clinical conditions
  • Have access to dietitians in the wider department who specialise in areas including gastroenterology, diabetes, and obesity

Person Specification

We are looking for a dietitian who has:

  • Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment
  • Registered as a Healthcare Professional with the relevant professional body (HCPC)
  • Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to motivate and organise others to ensure best practice
