Job Overview

At Lewis Silkin LLP, we are seeking a talented Patent Attorney Trainee to join our dynamic Intellectual Property team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for drafting, filing, and prosecuting patents for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and filing patent applications for UK and EPO
  • Prosecuting patents through opposition and litigation
  • Collaborating with IP lawyers and litigators to provide comprehensive IP solutions
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Requirements
  • Foundation level or equivalent qualification in patents
  • Pre-EQE experience with approximately two years' work experience in patents
  • Technical background in electrical engineering, software, or telecommunications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
