Trainee Patent Attorney Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our dynamic Life Science Team as a trainee patent attorney. As a trainee, you will work closely with our experienced partners and attorneys to develop your skills and knowledge in patent law and intellectual property.

About the Role

As a trainee patent attorney, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, as well as providing support to our clients in the field of intellectual property. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from drafting and filing patent applications to advising clients on intellectual property strategy.

Our Training Programme

We have a comprehensive training programme in place to support your development as a patent attorney. This includes a two-week intensive training induction, weekly practical training sessions, and a 13-week course leading to the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law. You will also have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in the field.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who have a strong academic background in a relevant field, such as chemistry, organic chemistry, or pharmaceutical science. You should be highly motivated and have a keen interest in intellectual property law. We also welcome applications from imminent or new graduates, as well as anyone completing a doctorate or undertaking postgraduate research.
