About the Role

As a Medical Van Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our three sites - Euxton/Buckshaw/Fulwood. You will drive a van between these sites carrying medical equipment and perform various drop-offs at Preston Royal and Wigan Hospitals.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Maintain transportation schedules, coordinating with medical and administrative staff to plan efficient routes.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of hospital vehicles by conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Handle transported items with care, adhering to relevant safety and handling regulations.
  • Deliver medical supplies and equipment between departments within each hospital as required.
  • Comply with road safety regulations and hospital policies.
  • Record mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant data for accurate reporting.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries from hospital staff and ensuring smooth transit of all items.

Euxton Hall Hospital is located on a major route, making it easily accessible by car or public transport.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £32,000-£40,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
