Trainee Educational Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Mental Health Support Team as a Trainee Educational Mental Health Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing emotional wellbeing and mental health services to children and young people in Solihull.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and provide low-intensity, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy informed, guided self-help interventions to children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with schools and other stakeholders to develop and implement mental health strategies.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of evidence-based interventions to promote emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Experience working with children and young people in a mental health setting.
- Ability to proactively manage a busy and complex diary in a fast-paced work environment.
- Qualifications to at least Level 5 standard (equivalent to a Higher National Diploma or the second year of a standard undergraduate degree).
