Role Summary:

We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer with a strong background in Electromagnetics and Low Observability, particularly in the realm of Electro-Optical and multi-mode Sensor systems for Precision Guidance applications. Leonardo excels in EO/LO technology, engaging in significant equipment programs and pioneering research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advancing technology development, including modeling and simulation
  • Analyzing and conveying signature predictions
  • Participating in electromagnetic modeling and experimental measurements
  • Documenting findings through comprehensive reports and presentations
  • Offering technical leadership and advocating for best practices

Required Expertise:

  • Signature mitigation for Electro-Optical sensors
  • Radar Cross Section (RCS) evaluation
  • Planning RCS trials

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a STEM degree and relevant experience in:

  • Radar cross section reduction and RF antenna design
  • Electro-optics and RADAR technologies
  • Low Observability modeling and forecasting
  • Systems Engineering principles

Proficiency in Electromagnetics fields such as Low Observables, Stealth Technology, and Electromagnetic Capability is highly desirable.
