Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a skilled Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting drawings and plans to develop and design welding projects, ensuring that all specifications and standards are met.

  • Develop and design welding projects based on technical specifications and drawings.
  • Interpret and apply welding procedures, specifications, and standards in engineering construction.
  • Lay out, fit, measure, and weld metals to create desired shapes or objects.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect and test welds for durability and compliance with specified standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide updates to the Fabrication Supervisor on job progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will have at least 2-3 years of experience in a welding role, preferably in an engineering setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
