We are seeking an experienced General Legal Counsel to join our historic high street firm in Dorking. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently while benefiting from the support of our wider litigation team in London. Occasional travel to our London office may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue a varied caseload independently with minimal supervision, handling contract disputes, shareholder & director disputes, boundary & land disputes and consumer disputes.
  • Develop and grow a practice through business development activities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in general litigation.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
