Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Traffic Manager to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our Integrated Project Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that traffic management legislative requirements are met by our contractors across various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure traffic management legislative requirements are met by contractors across Main Works Civils, Enabling Works, Utilities, Stations, and Rail Systems.
  • Liaise and coordinate with local highway authorities on traffic and transport matters, ensuring contractors provide necessary documentation and plans.
  • Manage supplier contracts on behalf of the Project Client, Senior Project Managers, and the HS2 NEC3 Project Manager.
  • Provide specialist advice within the IPT to fulfill clearly defined HS2 accountabilities of scope delivery, budget, time, and quality parameters.
  • Undertake a risk-based approach to the assurance of traffic management and temporary highway schemes, maintaining standards of health and safety.
Requirements
  • Experience in the design of general traffic management, particularly safety schemes, and temporary traffic management standards.
  • Leadership and management experience, with the ability to work across functions and disciplines to deliver objectives.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to respond quickly in a constantly changing project environment.
