Associate Traffic Director Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Traffic Director to join our team at Marston Holdings. As a key member of our traffic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and services to our clients.

### Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with the Technical Director of Traffic and Parking and Associate Directors to deliver business plans and strategies
* Manage direct reports and lead multiple projects with different clients
* Work with Associate Directors to ensure the professional and financial performance of the Traffic Team and their projects
* Lead a team of senior engineers, engineers, and technicians/graduates and apprentices
* Oversee and assist in the preparation of brief responses, bids, proposals, and estimates for new work
* Identify and agree resources for current and new projects
* Create Gantt charts using MS Project
* Provide CDM advice and act as Principal Designer where practical
* Contribute towards the organic growth of the team
* Guide project managers to deliver quality projects to customers' requirements
* Provide technical direction, advice, and support to the team to resolve problems and enhance business/project performance
* Build relationships with clients and Project Centre staff across teams
* Act as account manager for key clients and work closely with the Regional Director to assist in managing client accounts and delivering regional financial performance

### Person Specification

* Excellent knowledge of traffic engineering, highways engineering, and/or parking and transportation planning
* At least 10 years of relevant experience
* Relevant degree or equivalent
* Experience of successfully managing and delivering projects
* Professional Membership MICE/MCILT/MIHT is desirable
* Qualification in project management is desirable
