We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Nicola York Recruitment Ltd. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the General Ledger, calculating and posting accruals, prepayments, and intercompany balances.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for maintaining the General Ledger and ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Calculate, post, and reconcile accruals, prepayments, intercompany balances, recharges, depreciation, and forex revaluation
  • Report daily and weekly sales margin reports to the Financial Controller
  • Assist the Financial Controller with the preparation of the month-end management reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and reforecast
  • Support the year-end external audit and annual internal audit processes

What We Offer:

  • Salary £30,000 to £35,000 dependent upon experience
  • CIMA or ACCA full study support package provided

About You:

  • AAT Qualified or equivalent
  • Previous accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Good communication skills - able to present finance data to non-finance staff
