Job Title: 3rd shift Plumber

About the Role:

PMA (Services) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team in a correctional facility setting. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including water supply networks, heating systems, and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems: Ensure that plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and effectively, including water supply networks, heating systems, and drainage systems.
  2. Perform inspections and routine maintenance: Regularly inspect plumbing systems to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent problems from arising.
  3. Diagnose and repair plumbing issues: Use your expertise to diagnose and repair plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  5. Maintain accurate records: Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used, including any maintenance or repairs carried out.
  6. Provide emergency plumbing services: Be available to provide emergency plumbing services as needed, responding to any plumbing-related issues that may arise.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Proven experience: We are looking for a Plumber with proven experience in a similar institutional setting, ideally with a strong background in plumbing systems and tools.
  2. Strong knowledge: You will need a strong knowledge of plumbing systems and tools, as well as excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  3. Good physical condition: You will need to be in good physical condition and possess the necessary strength to perform the demands of the role.
  4. Ability to work independently: You will need to be able to work independently and manage your time effectively, as well as have strong communication skills.
  5. Contract length: This is a contract role with a duration of 16 weeks.
  6. Pay: The rate of pay for this role is £170.00 per day.
  7. Work location: This role will be based in person at our correctional facility location.
