About the Role:
Leader Education are recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant to work at a Primary School based in Hebburn. The school caters for EYFS through to KS2 and fosters an environment where children show respect and kindness to one another. Their vision is to work together, learn together and achieve together.
Key Responsibilities:
• An enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Some experience working alongside children with SEND in an educational setting
• An adequate understanding of safeguarding and the overall welfare of children
• The ability to assist with classroom activities and provide one-to-one support to pupils that may require extra support
