Job Description
About the Role
This is a substantive consultant position within our endocrine and diabetes team at Glan Clwyd Hospital. As a clinical leader, you will join a dynamic team of consultants and contribute to the development of patient care pathways and service improvements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Fulfilling a role as a consultant physician in endocrinology, diabetes, and general internal medicine.
- Undertaking general medical on-call duties as part of the existing rota, with a 1:17 commitment covering a 24-hour period from 09:00 - 09:00.
- Contributing to the re-establishment of acute medicine services.
- Managing inpatients admitted to their ward and patients admitted under their take.
- Providing post-take ward rounds in ED and AMU.
About You
We seek an experienced and skilled professional with a strong background in diabetes and endocrinology. You must possess full GMC registration, be on the specialist register, and have CESR within six months. A CCST in GIM is also essential.
