About the Job

This is a substantive consultant position in our endocrine and diabetes team at Glan Clwyd Hospital. As a seasoned professional, you will lead the development of patient care pathways and contribute to service improvements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling a role as a consultant physician in endocrinology, diabetes, and general internal medicine.
  • Working as part of the general medical on-call rota.
  • Contributing to the re-establishment of acute medicine services.
  • Providing expert care to patients with complex conditions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong background in diabetes and endocrinology. You should hold full GMC registration, be on the specialist register, and have CESR within six months. Additionally, you must have a CCST in GIM.
