Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing, developing, maintaining, and supporting engineering software applications.

The Role

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Investigating operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation
  • Supporting with the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications
  • Assisting with specified maintenance procedure
  • Installing or removing software, using supplied installation instructions and tools including, where appropriate, handover to the client
  • Conducting tests, correcting malfunctions, and documenting results in accordance with agreed procedures. Reporting details of all software items that have been installed and removed so that configuration management records can be updated

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • IT or engineering related background
  • Experience in managing and maintaining IT solutions
  • Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: Computer Aided Design, Product Lifecycle and/or Data Management, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Design Analysis, Integrated Logistic Support and Technical Publications, Manufacturing management systems, Laboratory Management systems, Project controls, planning and reporting

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
