Aerospace NDT Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace NDT Specialist to join our team. As an NDT Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) on a wide range of aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct NDT using MPI and DPI on aircraft components
  • Perform regular control checks to ensure consistent and reliable testing procedures
  • Support the maintenance and function of plant equipment
  • Assist with stock level monitoring of consumables
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the SOP Engineer to develop and maintain SOPs and local instructions
  • Aid in machine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime
  • Ensure compliance with EASA, FAA, and company quality standards

Requirements:

  • EN4179 certification in NDT - MPI and DPI
  • Proven experience in an NDT environment, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturers' overhaul and repair manuals
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
