Role Purpose

Ideagen is a leading provider of software solutions that help organisations ensure the safety and quality of their products and services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our pricing strategy and ensuring that our solutions remain competitive in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to enhance revenue growth and market competitiveness.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour.
  • Analyse pricing data to provide insights that support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, and product teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making adjustments as necessary to optimise performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of pricing analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Prepare and present pricing strategy reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in pricing strategy, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in pricing software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing a team.
