About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Officer to join our team at Loughborough College. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children, ensuring their individual needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating activities for children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that fosters a love of learning.
  • Support the development of children's skills and abilities, setting achievable goals and celebrating their progress.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, organized, and well-resourced nursery setting, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, providing regular updates and feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 2 Child Care/Play Work qualification or willingness to work towards this.
  • Significant experience working within the childcare sector, with knowledge of Early Years Development.
  • Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
